I like the Summer Reading program. I think I learn way more than the kids do, which is good.
It's always good to expand their knowledge of the world too, especially about other cultures. This week we're "visiting" India, so they'll be listening to a couple traditional Jataka tales and this one about Diwali.
Who knows if it'll make that much of a difference in their lives, but I'll keep on introducing multicultural things as much as I can. It's the least I can do.
