It's a tournament weekend, so this is where I spent a great deal of time today. Tomorrow they're on a different complex, but the view will be similar, I'm sure.
This is the team's first summer playing 18U fastpitch softball, and it's definitely a step up from 16U, both ability- and competition-wise.
But anyday spent in the sun watching the Kid play softball (and actually getting TO play softball) is time well spent. Here in a couple of years it won't be happening, so I plan on enjoying it all as much as I can.
