Tomorrow (later today, I guess) is the "official" start date of the Kid's senior year of high school--it's the day that the rest of her classmates start back, anyway.
She's already been back to school for 2 weeks now, and has had to do homework even as they've all been whooping it up for the last couple weeks of summer. And her courseload is definitely more engaging than her schedule would have been at the high school.
She's happier at the college than she was at the high school, and we're happy too, considering that her first 2 years of college have been free. Free is always a good thing, I think.
So this is it. Her last first day of school...as a high schooler.
