The Kid and I went to go see this Friday night. We'd listened to the book this past summer, and wanted to kind of see where the movie took it.
I'll give it a solid "eh". It seemed as if the book almost needed to be read before the movie was watched because there were sure lots of parts that were glossed over fairly quickly, but would make sense if a person really had read the book.
Sometimes a book < the movie, but not for me, not this one.
Maybe it's because the readers on the audio were so good. Or maybe I was already in a semi-cranky mood.
