This is what Steve got me for my birthday. It's a digital measuring tape. Apparently it's much more exact than my own method of measuring, which is probably why he got it for me. He tends to be rather disapproving of how I eyeball measurements, and how I just make a mark on the measuring tape rather than just remember the actual measurement.
In any case, it's really kind of neat, and will come in handy.
